Welcome pamphlet
- The city's big. Like, really big, and mostly fake. And also empty; you won't find anyone here but us. But we're great, right? Pretty much everyone here is friendly and stuff.
- The people that brought us here have the power to change it regularly at their whim. Changes that we've made do not necessarily stay. Studies are currently being conducted into what changes can be made and how long they last. Speak to a member of Taisho Roman Revolution if you’re interested in signing up.
- Some stuff’s real, tho. The park is, anyway. There are gardens and a lake out there. And I guess there's a hospital, too? Useless for injuries, though. When we reach point milestones we can vote on a new facility, but it’s probably a monkey’s paw situation like that shit hospital. The hospital can at least be used for bed space, and some of the machines in there could come in handy. If nothing else a good place to steal mattresses from. Check out the Maps app on your phone for location info!
-In addition to the hospital, the hotel (where we live), and the tower, there are other empty buildings that can be repurposed if you have a need for them. But those aren’t marked on the map in any kind of special way, jsyk They’re great if you want to go camping somewhere!
- By now, you should know that you're here to be an "idol": a kind of public performer. You can find your Unit traits in the profile app. But don’t put any stock into individual profiles they’re rude and dumb. These traits are really only useful for the purposes of performing Vids, which require that one personality trait be present.
- By performing vids and lives, as well as performing in other units' lives, you can earn points to trade in for snacks and stuff and memories! Memories are important guys!
- Memories can be good or bad. Know the risks before buying in. If you plan to buy public ones for cheap, it's not a bad idea to take them close to people you trust. Memories are still awesome though! But sometimes you get superheroes and sometimes you get … uh, baby legs. Please can we not talk about the baby legs. Why did you have to bring up the baby legs, Spidey...
- Abilities are important too. Each unit has a unique powerset, you won’t retain any abilities you may recall from your memories but you can buy up to six powers from the app. Be careful of buying anything shady, the names can be misleading.
- If you don’t have enough points, you can borrow and share with your friends. I recommend teaming up to buy upgrades to your dorms. There may be other additional large-point purchases in the future worth having savings for if that is not important to you.
- You get some free stuff for Lives I think. Depending on what it is. I think they’re mostly for people whose lives would be too restricted without props. So far I only know of AlcheME! and Taisho Roman Revolution receiving free materials for their lives. Test how far you can push the system everyone.
-Don’t fuck up the healers,idiot.
- If you don’t know how to use modern tech, get someone to teach you. Don’t start fires. Hiryuu of Heart Soldier Senshi has a cook book and is starting a cooking group; text her if you're interested. Also, the fridge is where meals are stored and it will keep any ingredients or food you buy good longer. Also, electric lights can be used any time, day or night, and each dorm is outfitted with water that can run hot or cold to you at any time, regardless of how high up you are. The moving room that brings you to your floor is called a hellevator.
- People can watch what’s going on in the Vid room by the way, so if you’re planning a date? It’s not going to be private. ASK HIM HOW HE KNOWS Fuck off :) Just keep it clean, fuckheadseveryone. Dad had a date?? Omfg dude. Have I got a story for you. Please, this is chaos.
- Periodically, "games" are hosted in the Tower. These seem to occur roughly every two to four or five days.
-The hosts of these competitions may not be sane and some seem to have even been idols once. We still don't know much. But you can't reach them or hurt them; they're allHollow Grams.holograms You're too picky about spelling, Hurricane! Fine, they're GHOSTS. Spooky. Ghosts would be easier to deal with.
- Some games are harmless, or may seem harmless until a tiebreaker is introduced. Or an armbreaker! Spidey.
- Beware that these competitions may involve harm to yourself or others. This may be unavoidable once you are in the midst of a game. Try not to get too mad at other teams when stuff goes wrong. They have to make the same decisions you are. And they’re not the ones who decided we were going to be making decisions like this in the first place.
- You really don’t have to show up to these things if you don’t want to, though. There are plenty of other ways to earn points without the risk. Sometimes your app won’t even alert you properly. Keep an eye out if all your teammates suddenly disappear for a few hours.
- Please ask your team for more information regarding further details as well as to discuss how best to navigate this situation. Remember to use common sense and to not act without thinking and discussing things with your team first. Stay safe everyone. I don’t know what you’re talking about. That never happens. Spidey!
If you have any other questions that weren't answered here, please feel free to stop by Heart Soldier Senshi on the 9th floor. We'll do what we can to answer your questions to the best of our ability. You can also use your phone app or the chatroom app ‘Dissonance’ to get in contact if you can’t find us. Our inboxes are always open. No one may ask us about the baby legs; that is the only exception.
